Well, there really shouldn't be any mystery here but there usually is. A cross crankset is really just a road double crank with smaller rings. No one would really want to push a 53 tooth ring across a muddy field would they? Bikeman's cross cranks are all ready to go with a traditional cross double setup with the inner chainring having anywhere from 36 to 39 teeth and the outer having either 46 or 48 teeth. To get exactly the crank they want most people usually start with a Road Crankset or Road Crank/Bottom Brackets Set and change the chainrings to cross gearing.
