The fifth event of the 2008/2009 Texas Cup Cyclocross series found me at Trinity Park between downtown Fort Worth and the cultural district racing in the Broken Films Cross sponsored by Broken Films Racing. I had never raced this event before but it did feel a little like home turf. Trinity Park is across the street from the hotel I lived in my first month here in Fort Worth.

Saturday we mixed it up with WCCC Collegiate Categories. On Sunday the Southern California/Nevada Cycling Association District Championships were highlighted. Both days found the typical SoCal cross conditions: mid 70's, bright blue sky and fast competitor's.
