North Carolina Winter Cup Cyclocross Series Race #4 Fisher River Park, Dobson, NC
 | | click to enlarge | Unlike the 72 degree weather from the previous weekend in Durham, NC, today the temperature was closer to 44 degrees with 20 mph winds with hardly a cloud in the sky. This race was held at Fisher River Park, Dobson, NC. The promoters always put together a really good course. The course was not very technical, only a real short off camber section, more twists and turns then a Stephen King novel followed by a sand pit that had been rotor tilled and a bank that was close to 50 feet long which for me, was unridable.

I ended up 10th in the Masters 45+, was very happy with that. If you ever get a chance to travel to North Carolina, the put on 10 races during the Fall Series and 5 during the Winter Series. Check it out at nccyclocross.com. One more race and I'm done for this season. Kind of sad to think about because I am truly a cross nut! It's been a fun season riding the Redline Conquest Team.
