The North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) held in San Jose the first weekend in March was a convention, no an art show, no a playground, but only for those likeminded cyclists who desire the unique, the unusual or the cutting edge. Well enough about me.

Webster defines art as employment of intelligent and skillful means to the accomplishment of some end, or is that "bling?" So as I've described to a few associates, "It was the fastest six hours of my life." I was surprized that I did not speak to every single exhibitor, but there's always next year. The directory lists 101 individuals, company's or product lines. The 42 page program is a keeper. Don Walker, founder and president of NAHBS (handmadebicycleshow.com) exclaims that, "Your time will be enjoyable, educational and inspiring." Ya.
