Following FreyeI think the weather Gods are planning to flood the North East. Sunday afternoon it started to snow again! After a couple of inches of snow accumulation the wet heavy snow turned into rain and it hasn’t stopped since than. For the past twenty-four hours it has been raining non stop. And I am not talking about a little slow drizzle, it has been not stop pouring for over twenty four hours.

Thankfully I was able to get out early Sunday morning for a couple hours and wasn’t stuck in the cold wet rain for too long. I was able to put my new Craft rain pants to the test. So far they seem to be doing the job really well, but I would rather not use them. I can’t wait for the sun to come back out. It seems like since I have been back from Arizona I have only had one or two sunny days. School was canceled today due to power outages and strong winds. This weather report says it all.

Thankfully the last couple days have been long and hard so today was a day off. Most of the roads are closed in Southern Maine. I think there is only one route open out of Gorham right now. It wouldn’t surprise me if that one route is closed down later tonight due to flooding. I just got a bunch of new Oakley’s and I haven’t really been able to use them lately. I got a couple pairs of the Radar glasses which are sick! These glasses are a must have for any cyclist, mountain or road. With the weather forecast predicting rain for the next couple of days it seems like the entire state might be flooded soon. Maybe it’s a good thing I live on the 6th floor of my dorm…..
