Following FreyeA few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go down to Boston, MA to the Marathon Expo. The whole point of going down to Boston for the day was to meet up with my Oakley rep, talk some talk, pick up some new shades, and to see the Oakley trailer (this video in person). The Oakley truck was amazing! Just watch the video and you will be sold on Oakley that is if you care about your eye sight. I've been using Oakley eye wear for over 5 years now and Oakley keeps on impressing me and the world

I first started off wanting a pair of M frames 5 years ago because of there superior fit. Then when I learned about the soupier optics and safety I was sold. The M frames were the first pair of glasses I had that could hold up on a climb in rainy weather and not fog up due to there vented lenses. After the M frames I picked up a pair of the Racing Jackets. Oakley again raised the bar with transition lenses. My transitional lens Racing Jackets are amazing for mountain biking. When riding from shady areas to bright open areas the transitional lenses excel by adapting to the light. Leaves, roots, and rocks can clearly been seen allowing your to pick the cleanest and fastest line. You do not have to slow down and let your eyes adjust to the light; the glasses do it for you. This allows you to ride faster with more confidence.

Well its 2007 and Oakley has once again gone above and beyond in the world of eye wear with there Radar! The Radar is a new lens quality on a new frame. The frame fits firm and easy on the head. The nose piece is snug and firm in place as well, assuring you that your glasses will not slide down your face. But the best thing about the Radar is the coating on the lenses that you don’t know is there. Try taking a sharpie to a pair of Radar’s, the sharpie’s ink will bead off the glasses. The glasses basically have a permanent coating of Rain-X on them. Water, mud, sweat will all run off the glasses leaving your with a clear lens for better vision. The optics are amazing like every other pair of Oakley’s. These glasses are a must have for any cyclist, road or mountain.

I can’t wait to put these glasses to the ultimate test in rainy and muddy race conditions. I have been using them constantly during my training now. In a week or two I will be going up to Canada for a couple national UCI events up there. You will be sure to see me wearing these glasses.

Thank you Oakley!
