Event: Midcoast Velo Time Trial

Distance: 15 miles
This is the first time that I have done this time trial. I know a little about this area. I was thinking that there was going to be some climbing. Well I was wrong, to a point. This course was for the most part pretty flat. With a good hill just before you make the turn to head back to the start finish line. There was some false flats and hills with very low grade, but you could still feel them as you road along.
It takes place on Route 90 which is a very good road with and emergency break down lane, so traffic is not a problem. The trun around is marshalled as well as the intersection with a stop light. There were police officers at this lighted intersection taking charge of the traffic flow as the riders came on to it.
