2nd Annual Stan Crane Memorial XC Race INTERMOUNTAIN CUP - RACE # 5 Draper, Utah May 28th, 2007
 | | click to enlarge | On Memorial day (May 28th) the 2nd annual Stan Crane Memorial race was held on a new course in Draper Utah. Draper is a suburb of Salt Lake City and while it may be the hot spot for McMansions, the city is integrating trails into the development. This race is the 5th race in the Intermountain Cup series and was held on a new venue that turned out to be one of the longer courses in the series.

I’ve been doing more endurance training and it seems to be paying off since my last lap wasn’t the deathmarch some of my more recent races ended with. This was my first race on a set of Panaracer Speedblaster tires and they are my new favorite hardpack racing tire. They are superlight, have the roundest profile of any tire I have used felt very fast motoring up the hardpack.
