Event: Auburn Time Trial
Date: 6/24/07
Time: 9:00am
Distance: 14 miles
This time trial was pretty much straight foward literally. The ride is all done on route 4 from Auburn, Me. to Turner, ME. This ride is straight out to Turner with no turn around. So you get to race with the benefit of a cool down back to the start line. The course is basically flat with one little hill about 10 or 11 miles into the ride. The hill is located at the "Mafia Mall" as the locals call it. I haven't figured that out yet.
The route and the road is very nice for TT. The condition of the road is like that of a highway with a white line for the emergencey break down lane. A word of caution though, you must pay attention to the road for large pieces of debris and "rumble strips". As always I had fun seeing some friends of mine and teammates.
