WHAT A BLAST!!!!!!!!! I did this triathlon as team. We had a great team, my son called it a stacked team with a lot of talent. This race brought back a lot of memories for me. I first did this triathlon the first year, thats when Bath Cycle and Ski was a sponser. To do this again as an "oldman" was just fantastic. This time I did it I was in a lot better shape then the first time.

The course was a little complicated to ride but was fun. The course consists of rolling to hilly terrain which suits me just fine. I guess living in Woolwich, ME I would consider this a home town course. I ride parts of this course as part of my training. The real hilly portions of the race occur in West Bath, ME.

The triathlon itself was well done and set up and timed by a Maine company called "Tri-Maine". These folks have done this before. Everything was in place. Rugs for the swimmers coming out of the water, bike racks in the exchange area, police road marshalls, the works. There were spectators all over the course which was really nice to hear them. I look foward to doing this again next year. I hope that I get a call from those guys again or somebody else that is looking for a cyclist for a team.

Chris
