Event: The Hinckley Time Trial Location: Hinckley, Maine Date: 7/1/07 Time: 9:00 am Distance: 12 miles
This is basically a classic Maine time trial. You go out for 6 miles and hammer back for another 6 miles. The ride takes from Hinckley to Skoweghan, Maine by using route 201 which is really nice to hammer on. The route itself has a break down lane which you use for the race.
The course is realtivly flat except for a little hill at the turn around. The course is situated north to south. On this day the wind was out of the north and west which made it a little slower going out. On the return trip though it was a blast riding the wind with it at your back. This is where you make your money and make up time.
