PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: "You get a feeling on certain trails, when you're reacting like you and your machine are just one thing. It's the feeling of physical exertion and speed and technique all wrapped into one." — Ned Overend

Yep that is why I love to ride & race mountain bike and cyclocross. I got into mountain biking just after high school and I became addicted. It wasn’t too long before I tried racing and got destroyed. Then I bought my first road bike and started hammering with and getting hammered by the local Cat1’s and 2’s. I’ve gotten better over the years and learned to suffer with some of the best. I started racing ‘cross about seven years ago and I’m not sure I’ll ever quit. Cyclocross is simply the most humbling way to race a bike.

Cycling is truly a lifestyle for me and has given me so much. I’ve met some great friends and I even met my wife through the local club sprint rides. I feel very fortunate to really love a sport that keeps me in good health and sorry for those that have to drag themselves to the gym to exercise.

This is my first year with Team Bikeman.com and I’m hoping to put down some good results in the Wisconsin Off-Road Series, Wisconsin Cyclocross series and hopefully pull in a new personal best at the Chequamegon Fat Tire 40.
