For being the first year this race has been put on, it was very organized. Everything happened the way it should including very fast and easy registration and awards/prizes that went very quickly. As far as the race, it was probably my favorite one.
There was not a lot of climbing, it was technical and there were a lot of fast dirt road sections. The beginning is a very fast dirt road which is briefly interrupted by a short single track section followed by more dirt road. Then it breaks off into a very tough root section followed by lots of single track with rocks, roots, and tight squeezes. The end is similar to the beginning. There is a section of dirt road which turns off to a short single track section with roots and finishes with a short sprint across the finish line.
