RESIDENCE: Richmond, VA
WHERE I GO MONDAY MORNING: Where I go and where I want to be are two different things. I go to work to keep "the man" happy but I spend most of the day dreaming of single track unless I have some serious vacation time
RACING DISCIPLINE(S) AND CATEGORY(S): Endurance & Ultra Endurance Mountain Biking mainly but I dabble in a little bit of Sport or Single Speed XC racing as well.
# OF YEARS RACING: 2
# OF BIKES OWNED: 4 (Redline Mono cog Fixed Gear MTB, Salsa Dos Niner, Vassago Bandersnatch, Fuji Roubaix Pro Roadie.)
FAVORITE BIKE: If I told you I'd have to kill you.
FAVORITE TRAIL OR RIDE: Any trail in the George Washington National Forrest. There are so many miles of great single track there including the IMBA Epic Southern Traverse as well as the SM100 course and a lot of other unexplored trails.
NON-CYCLING INTERESTS/HOBBIES: Rock Climbing, Snowboarding, White Water Kayaking, Scuba Diving, Hiking, Camping, Computers and geeky technology stuff, and I'm a musician so yeah I stay busy.
PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: "Dude it's not a death march, it's just 60 or so miles with 19,500' of climbing, it's not like we are doing a hundie. Man up!"

I'm just a simple guy who really, really likes to ride his bike. Mountain biking was the gateway drug that got me hooked on the outdoors and Mother Nature. Thanks to those fat knobby tires I'm now a nature junkie. If you haven't already done so, join IMBA and your local cycling club. Get involved with trail work/maintenance it will give you an insane amount of trail knowledge plus you will meet some great new riding buddies and be doing something great for your local trails. You owe it to them.
2009 will be my 1st year racing for Bikeman.com and I'm very stoked to be a part of the family. Here's to a great ride!
