PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: With my MBA behind me, I should have more time for stuff like training in 2009. One of the results from the lack of time during school was that it forced me to really choose a single racing discipline. There was no possible way for me to train for road, MTB, and cross racing. Even with school being done, I will continue to focus my season on cross in the fall and winter. Also, I plan to build upon the kart racing I started in 2008 with a full season of racing in 2009 from April until cross starts in September. This will basically nix any road or MTB racing.

My 2008 cross season went relatively well given the amount of time I could train. Buying a PowerTap was one of the best things I could have done because I was able to use the little time I had more efficiently. My speed in November and December was much better in 2008. Hopefully I will have better results in 2009 with the move to B Masters in cross.
