Great for Mountain or Road. If you are sick of sweat getting in your eyes, if you are sick of having your helmet pads fill with sweat and the "bucket dump" at the end of the trail where you squeeze your forehead pad against your forehead and sweat pours out onto the trail, then this headband is for you.
The rubber strip effectively guides sweat out of your face/glasses and even makes the arms of the glasses more comfortable on the side of your head. I always thought a headband would be uncomfortably warm, but i have to say, the effect is minimal with the HaloII. The benifits are much-much greater. It also works well on cooler rides (55F+) to keep your forehead warm, and in a pinch I've stretched it over my ears to keep the wind out. The band stretches a little over time and you won't even notice it after 2 minutes. Don't pre-stretch the portion with the rubber strip because it can crack. it still works fine cracked, but you'll have an indent on your forehead at the end of the ride. it's no fashion show out there though. On a scale of one to 5 the HaloII get's the "I'll never ride warm weather without one again" seal of approval.
