New Product Introductions
ImageWell, for some of you the cyclcross season is a long ways off but I am a full blown cross nut and it is never too early to start planning. Winwood has always treated us cross sadists pretty well and they have done it again.

Enter the Dusty Cross Fork. Winwood has used what they have learned from their existing cross forks and taken it too another level with a lighter weight, more race oriented cross fork. The Winwood Dusty has a carbon crown and a 1-1/8" aluminum steerer. This is canti only folks so leave your disc brakes at home. This new combo creates the lightest cross fork Winwood has offered to date. At 558g with a 300mm uncut steerer it is only 38g heavier then my benchmark for lightweight forks the Alpha Q CX with a carbon steerer. That is a small penalty to pay for those of you that like the confidence of an alloy steerer. Not to mention that at $250 the Dusty is a full $200 less than the Alpha Q CX. Winwood proves once again that lightweight forks can be affordable withour sacrificing safety. The Winwood Dusty will be available in a few weeks. I would say get one of these early becuase cross is hot and so will be these forks.

Big Al
