Now I know that the big "S" meaning Shimano is not everyones favorite company. I have biked for many years now and owned alot of hubs. You can not beat the dollar/durability ratio.
I know they ain't light or shiny. They come in black only maybe silver. But hey black was good enough for Johnny Cash, so it can not be bad. I like the 6 bolt version over the center lock, just because you can use other (ie not shimano) brake systems.
