As promised I am going to highlight some of the hubs I made reference to in my last post about new products in the store. The first one I am going to hit on are some new offerings from Formula. For those of you familiar with Formula products you might think low budget or low quality. Even though there may have been some argument for that in the past it really isn't true any more. Although they still have some pretty affordable products the quality and innovation has really come a long way.
I am pretty impressed with their latest offering of hubs. Their product is the Adapter Disc Hub. It is a pretty slick idea. The rotor adapter is held on by way of a spline and lock ring. Just back off the lock ring and swap out the adapter from 6-bolt to center lock. The hubs run on sealed cartridge bearings for smooth spinning and long life. Formula offers a cross country QR model and heavy duty freeride/downhill models. The heavy duty models are available with 20mm thru axle fronts, standard QR rear, and 150mm x 12mm thru axle rear. All have 32 or 36 hole options. You can check out all these hubs in the Formula section of our mountain disc hubs.
