Introducing the Limited Edition Salsa El Mariachi frameset. A 29'er, single-speed specific, steel hardtail with an Eccentric Bottom Bracket shell... Not for everyone, but Salsa is betting that the complete run of 100 frames will sell out before you can say El Mariachi! 100 Limited Edition framesets are being produced world wide.

Attention to detail can be seen in ever aspect of the El Mariachi. From the custom painted steel stem and fork to the distinguished Salsa headbadge, the El Mariachi is destined to be a classic. The frame is made from True Temper OX Platinum tubing and is complemented by a Salsa CroMoto fork and CroMoto SUL stem. To keep the frame and fork clean the El Mariachi is designed for disc brake use only.
Salsa first 29'er hardtail, the frame uses a sloping top tube to allow for more standover height wich can be a problem with 29'er frames. The geometry is spot on and the frame is available in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. The frame features standard rear dropouts, minus the derailleur hanger, and an eccentric bottom bracket shell. The Eccentric allows you to tension the chain for single-speed use and adjust your bottom bracket height slightly for different riding conditions. The frame and fork both have enough clearance to run 29 x 2.3" tires, Bikeman likes the WTB ExciWolf 2.3" tire up front on his rigid 29'er...
