When I was adding these saddles to our site I though "What the?" After the initial shock I did my due diligence and researched them a little bit. From what I have read there is apparently some validity in the design for people that have problems with discomfort on the nose of the saddle.
This patented, new design eliminates the "nose" part of the traditional saddle. It eliminates pressure on the perineum area resulting in improved blood flow and eliminates numbness which can accompany traditional saddles. Apparently these saddles are gaining popularity in the trialthlon and time trial disciplines.
We have added three models to the store. The Touring; Sport and the Adamo Race which includes an integrated tri-hook under the rear of the saddle that allows for quick placement and removal of bike in transition area, lightweight foam padding with GEL inserts and titanium rails. All models are available now.
