After experiencing a flat what seemed like every time I rode, I wanted a flat resistant tire with good rolling ability. The Gatorskins were billed as those tires. However even with Gatorskins, I was still getting a flat almost every time I rode. I reinforced the Gatorskins’ flat protection with Mr. Tuffy’s and have not a flat since. The Gatoskins are handmade in Germany, roll down the road with the best of any road tire, provide some puncture resistance and look great. Bike Man.com's price “ain’t bad" either.
