I have the Razer mounted on my front wheel and have been using it in just about all conditions from dry to semi-wet. It rolls super well in all conditions but is a little hydrophobic when it comes to cornering or slick roots.
This tire is best in hard-packed, smooth singletrack where it almost slithers through corners, maintaining a secure, frictionless grip on the dirt. The fairly wide but light 2.1's provide a stable ride, which at 38-40lbs of air do well to absorb gravel and small debris on the trail. I've tried it in slightly wet conditions (too lazy to swap it out) and I must say it's a little slick. It tracks straight enough, but tends to slip out at any hint of moisture on rocks or roots. It does, however, shed mud quickly because of the large spaces between treads. But this tire definitely excels in dry conditions. Not the best tire for New England this summer, but definitely one to have in your arsenal for those dry trails.
