Challenge Grifo Clinchers |

 Cyclocross season is here and Bikeman is crazy for cross. You may have gathered from some of the recent posts that we have been digging around for all the hottest cross gear. After years in development Challenge is now releasing a clincher version of their legendary Grifo tubular cyclocross tire. Same great tread, same super supple casing. Now you can train on the same that you race on or race on this legendary tire without shelling out for a new set of tubular wheels.
This clincher tire was raced in Europe last year for testing and is now ready to hit the market. The tread is exactly the same as the the Grifo tubular including the extra side knobs that were added to the design at the end of last year. The extra knobs increased the already famous cornering and off camber agility. The clincher has a folding bead to keep the weight low, width is 32mm only.
These tires are so new that we are not expecting them for about 3 weeks. Realistically we hope to be shipping them to customers the first week of October. There are a limited number of these tires available and we expect them to go fast so we are accepting pre-orders to ensure you will get yours.
