 | | 2007 Shimano XTR PD-M970 Pedals | Way back in the early spring Shimano pulled the cover off the all new 2007 XTR lineup. The changes are impressive. In fact a lot of the changes we have been asking for for years. Shimano revealed all the changes on their website in April, May and June so we don't have any new news on that front. However, we are finally getting part numbers and pricing so we thought we would revisit the 2007 XTR lineup over the next few days and let you know what it will cost. ETA is early October so we are keeping an eye out and will let you know as soon as we have it.
PD-M970: XTR Pedals
With the introduction of SPD, Shimano created the mountain bike clipless pedal category. Never content to sit on past accomplishment, through extensive R&D the SPD design continues to evolve by introducing the all new XTR PD-M970 pedal.
The PD-M970 is the first pedal to earn the XTR logo giving you a 3-year warranty. With a revised cleat interface for increased stability and solid engagement, the new XTR pedal sheds 25 grams to become Shimano’s lightest mountain bike pedal ever.
Shimano XTR PD-M970 Pedals - MSRP $153.95
