Avid's first move into the DH and Freeride market is now available. Front 185mm, rear 185mm, front 203mm and rear 203mm are all in stock. The code has be designed from the ground up making it the beefiest brake from Avid to date.
The list of features is long and function specific. Cartridge bearing lever pivots for minimal friction. Aluminum brake pad contact point adjuster knob is center-mounted for reduced vulnerability. Two piece caliper is held together with four M6 bolts for greater stiffness. Four pistons provide longer braking surface and increased power. Center-mount stainless steel banjo provides multiple hose adjustment options. Pads are Avid's new organic compound. 1000mm front hose, 1500mm rear hose.
