I've had these tires on my cross bike all season. In fact they're the only cross tires I've used. Regardless, these tires roll quick and hook up well on grassy courses. They're alright in the mud, but I don't have much to compare them to. The biggest problem, mentioned in another review, is that they wear out really fast. I've never had a tire wear out this fast, including super tacky DH tires. A good tire 'cross riding it seems, but bad if you're riding on the road a lot or commuting.

This tire grips and rolls well, but I never gave it a good test in the mud because it wore out before I got a chance. Which is why it gets two stars: it wears out really fast. This might be fine if you are Steve Larsen and you get a truckload of these for free every week, but I expect a bit more life for a tire at this price point.
