I initially thought the Laser V was a good option but the bike shop owner encouraged me to try the Vigo. He mounted it on the my bike and said see you in a couple of days. The weather has been bad and I wasn't able to get out on the bike until a few days later. Initially I felt indifferent about the ride. But about after fifteen miles I suddenly realized I wasn't feeling any discomfort. I was really comfortable. The saddle is not as light as the Ponza and may compromise a little energy transfer, but after fifty miles I was sold. I am scheduled to do RAGBRAI for the first time in July and I wanted to make sure that I was able to enjoy the ride and not worry about seat discomfort. This saddle really has brightened my outlook in that regard and I would heartily recommend it to anyone who rides more than twenty miles at a time.
