Team Bikeman - Race Reports



The session began with a training round where Pasha led us through 14 various floor exercises, each with variations for different skill levels. Once we had experienced these and learned the proper form, we were then led through a "real world speed" workout where we did each of the exercises. The great part is that the whole routine can be done in about 15 minutes.

ImageTeam Bikeman did its best and at times struggled. The bellyaching was dramatic, the crying was sincere, and new muscles were found. On a brighter note, there were several triumphant moments, such as Buzz figuring out the modified plank over and under move, and Big Al balancing while kneeling on a ball in his most Zen like state. It should be said that the 3 women in attendance definitely showed up the boys with their form, grace, and ability to "suck it up".

As Pasha has received several follow-ups from team members concerning technique and other questions, we may plan additional sessions through the year. Other options may include power yoga and positive visualization. This first experience seems to have been quite successful, and I'm sure Bikeman members who were not in attendance may consider joining the next training.
