The change went quick and I was on my way. Then I got my second flat. Now I'm screwed. Well, I decided there were basically two options. Quit or persevere. So off I went, 5 miles of cold, wet running with a disabled Bontrager. I haven't run 5 miles in a really, really long time. But, you know, it really wasn't too bad. And I finished.
Due to the cold, wet conditions I decided to use Greyhound Juice. I've never used a product like that but with the conditions the way they were I figured it could help. Thank God. After running half the trail my legs felt surprisingly good. I'm sure the Greyhound Juice helped me keep warm and loose.
I'm confident I'll have better news next time. Peace.
