Introducing the all NEW Carver Bikes c38 carbon clincher 700c wheelset. Light enough for climbing the hills on the road and strong enough for the demands of the CX course. Featuring a 38mm (c38) depth full carbon rim with matte UD carbon finish. (Sorry, no mixed depths front and rear.) These all new rims are wider than our previous version and are 25mm across the brake track. The wider rim provides more air volume which translates into more comfort, more control and more stability. They are tubeless compatible with the addition of tubeless tape and valves or can be used with non-tubeless tires and tubes. They are built with external nipples allowing for easy truing of the wheel while the tire is installed. The wheels are laced 24 hole 2X drive side, radial non-drive side on the rear and 20 hole radial on the front using CN mac Aero 424 bladed black spokes (think Sapim CX Ray) and black anodized alloy nipples.

At the center of the Carver wheels are smooth rolling Novatec A291SB/F482SB hubs in black with alloy axles and alloy freehub body now updated with up to 12 speed cassette compatibility. The hubs feature replaceable sealed cartridge bearings and a choice of Campy, Shimano or SRAM XD-R freehub bodies which also have replaceable sealed cartridge bearings. The wheels come complete with black anodized skewers and Shimano road style cork brake pad inserts for use with the carbon rim surface.

Along with the new matte UD finish we have also updated our graphics. We offer our new Carver script logo in gloss black for a modern, discrete look that we call ''ghost.'' If you desire a more color keyed look to pimp your ride we also have white, red, blue, orange, green and magenta. Sticker kits are available seperatly if you want to change your look down the road.

Designed for road or cyclocross our carbon wheels are a fast, stiff, performance option that can take you to the top of the podium on race day and still rack up the miles on training days.
