FAVORITE BIKE: Kona Fat Tire with Studs is just a blast to ride on any icy terrain, especially when accompanied by my rescue dog Tucker Turner, or the Fuji on Gravel.

FAVORITE TRAIL OR RIDE: Almost any trail, in any part of the USA. Trails in my back yard, Great Glen Trails, and riding the Modified Fuji or Wheelhouse across the USA with FCBA keeps me in shape.

NON-CYCLING INTERESTS/HOBBIES: Hiking/Mountaineering, Building Science, Indoor Air Quality, Energy Efficiency, Climate Change, Fuller Center for Housing fundraising and build days.

PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: An X runner, Kirk and Kate Turner’s racing and the Trek Across Maine re-sparked my interest 23 years ago, and I been re-hooked since. I am very glad to have ridden across the USA Portland, OR to Portland, ME summer of 2018 with the Fuller Center Bike Adventure; supported every 20 miles, sleeping in church basements, rebuilding homes, riding with 20-80 somethings. The 3,890 mile event restored my strength to pre-crash levels. After adjusting to a Prostectomy and now testing cancer free, two reverse replacement shoulders, and now training on Idaho gravel roads, my riding continues to improve.  Bring it on!!!
