Calimesa SoCal CX 2021

A big thank you to Team Redlands for the return of cross to Southern California. I know a few that have traveled to the Central Coast and our Capital for their respective series, however, I've decided to just wait. I have penned reports in the past about racing in Calimesa, CA. It is the best re-use of a golf course. Think of all those sand traps. And this year, they were wet. As if I have ever had any handling skills. The senior aged began the day at 8 a.m. The long climbing valley, coupled with shaded short punchy hills, links with flows descents coupled across the valley to a number of sunny hillside combos. Continuing back to the double barriers into a hike-a-bike. Then more sand. Bikeman.com Jersey was in full view as was my sorry ass.
