Carrabassett Fat Bike Race 2021

Great race! Due to Covid staggered starts in 2 minute intervals that was very well executed. Whole course was on ski trails to give room for distancing and safe passing. Course was well marked and ambassadors out to make sure no one got lost. Stated the day at 10 degrees ended close to 20. Snow had been groomed twice but despite that, there were still some soft spots and I had way too much pressure at 6.5. Didn't stop to change it, powered through a few dicey climbs and sketchy turns. Ate it more than once. Frankly i was just happy to be out and finally RACING but came away with a female first place finish for the long course!
