We quietly launched the all new Bikeman.com just before Christmas 2021.  After (too) many years of faithful service the old Bikeman.com finally had to be put out to pasture.  Back in the day she was equal to her peers but the speed at which technology advances is unkind to aging websites.   We had to move into the 21st century and add functionality that is considered standard, not the least of which is being mobile friendly.  The old site just couldn't keep up with the ch-ch-ch-changes.  We still have the same extensive product catalog as before but we are able to present it in a more visually appealing manner as well as increase the quality of the browsing experience.   That's just some techno babble to say it's mo' bettah.

There were some things we had to leave behind, at least temporarily, like all of our content.  We had some ancient articles that despite their age seemed to get a lot of traffic, whether because they are still informative or just plain humorous like looking at 90's haircuts is hard to say.  Regardless the content isn't lost, it's just packed away in digital banker's boxes and over the coming months we'll be cracking those open and putting up at least the more popular stuff on our new blog.  

Just in case you get a little nostalgic here is a shot of the old homepage as it was taken offline.  Goodbye old friend, you were a steadfast workhorse.  You will be missed (sort of).  Rest in peace.
