Yup, you are seeing it right, canti's. They went out of style with asbestos for use on mountain bikes but they are still the way to get it done on a cross bike. Of course you can adapt linear pull brakes (V-brakes) and heck even use mechanical disc brakes if you have the right frame and fork but for traditional Euro style cross courses though a good quality canti brake is all you will need. If you still have to have a different brake you can check out our selection of Linear Pull Brakes or Disc Brake Calipers that will work with road levers.
