A great rack, once set-up right, 5.7.2009

This is the best cheap (under $30) rack you can buy. It's very sturdy and fairly light. Mine has lasted through three years of hard daily commuting, plus about 1000 miles of loaded touring.
The only downside is that it takes some finesse to install it right: the upper stays are sturdy, but need to be bent properly to accommodate smaller frames. The supplied hardware is also terrible: go to a hardware store and get four stainless M4 bolts and nylock nuts for the stays, plus four stainless M5 bolts to attach to the frame, and you'll be good to go.
