That would be a Crank puller. This type require the use of a wrench versus one with the handle already fixed.

It's very hard to describe a crank puller without snickering in that Beavis and Butthead way. You screw it in, and it goes in real easy. Make sure you're in far enough, because if you're not you're going to make a mess of the threads. When you're sure you're in far enough and tight, then screw a little harder, and then, success. Thing pulls right off. What seemed so hard now seems so easy.

Crank Puller for TA/Stronglight Cranks

TA/Stronglight Crank Puller. Damn, non-standard French crap. Different threading than Shimano/Campy & everyone else. Wish I had one a while back. Had to use a tie rod end puller to get the crank off..........
