 In a few days the mountain bike world will be introduced to a new wheel size that cuts the difference between the standard 26" wheels and the new trend of 29" wheels. The 650B wheel will take center stage at Interbike in Las Vegas on several new mountain bikes, including the Carver Killer B. Before most of the world even hears about the new wheelsize, Bikeman has already built and tested a set. |

 2008 Kona Jake the Snake Cyclocross Frame:
 | | click to enlarge | Kona raises the bar yet again with the 2008 Jake the Snake. Kona was one of the first companies to produce a production level cyclocross bike back in 1998. The original Jake the Snake was a blue frame constructed of butted aluminum tubing and featured a steel fork on the front end. Well the blue paint is back but the 10th edition of the Jake the Snake is light years ahead of the original. |

If you read Velonews.com regularly, then you know that the new Trek road bikes are the talk of the town. I got a chance to ride one today for about 45 minutes. The local Trek superstore was doing demos. |
