Welcome to Bikeman's Basement. On-Line this is where you can view Bikeman's latest Custom Builds or read reviews on the latest frames we offer. There are lots of framebuilders out there and most of them make an excellent product. The hardest thing is deciding which one to choose. It seems like the more you read, the more confusing it gets. Advertising dollars don't influence our opinions, and if we're not familiar with a frame you're interested in, we won't pretend we are.

 | | click to enlarge | New for 2007, the Paddy Wagon is Kona's offering to the world of fixed gears. Destined to be a classic, the first release of the Paddy Wagon framesets come with a beautiful Kona CroMo fork. (word is that the next batch of frames will have a standard P2 unicrown fork) There is always a buzz around the shop when a new batch of Kona frames is dropped at the front door and the arrival of the Paddy Wagon was met with a mixture of excitement and curiosity. |

Here is another little photo gem from Eurobike. Thanks again to bike2build.com in Europe for the spy photos. This is a sneek peak at the 2007 Salsa Campeon road frame. Obviously the new paint is super cool as it always is from Salsa. What else is new about the Campeon? Hard to tell from the photos but it appears mostly unchanged. Still a Scandium frameset with carbon seat stays to smooth the ride out the ride on this hill killer. It may be compact sizing similar to the Primero, of course it may just be a small frame shown. Not sure on the ETA but a guess would put it around February to March. We will be offering the frame and fork shown. The build shown is for display only at Eurobike to show off some of the products of Salsa's partners in Europe. We can build yours however you want |
