The Ritchey Break-Away Cyclocross frame is the perfect platform to build the ultimate travel / adventure bike. Like most cross frames the Break-Away cross affords ample tire clearance. Perfect for running wide tires, like the Ritchey SpeedMax Delta, that provide the flexibility to ride comfortably on dirt or pavement. This customer was looking for a comfortable cockpit position so Bikeman recommended an upright position with a Ritchey Pro Adjustable stem and Ritchey WCS Riser Bar.

For durability and functionality, Paul Components Thumbies where the optimal choice to control the front and rear shifting. On the other end of the derailleur cables are Shimano LX rear and 105 front, 9-speed derailleurs. Ritchey parts where used when ever possible including the ProV Cross crank, WCS Headset and classic Tru Grips. Yes we still get orders for the Tru Grips. Each and every part was selected with care to build a bike handle the demands of traveling and would perform smooth for many miles to come. The complete spec is below followed by additional pictures.
