FAVORITE BIKE: They're all fun bikes.
FAVORITE TRAIL OR RIDE: Nothing particular, depends on the mood and time of year. Anytime on the bike is usually a good time.
NON-CYCLING INTERESTS/HOBBIES: Mountaineering & climbing, skiing & snowboarding -- lift serve or powder in the backcountry, running with the wife and dogs, cooking, nutrition, and just about anything active.
PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: I've always been a recreational biker, but got into bike racing because a friend bet me that I couldn't finish the Jay Challenge. I bought a road bike and started commuting to train for that race. The more I rode my bikes, the deeper my interest in cycling and racing grew. After a full season of racing in multiple disciplines, cyclocross stands out as my favorite. My goals are to have fun, find new trails and rides, and progress into higher levels of competition.
