This race has been extremely muddy in the past. Fortunately for this year, it had not rained so it was fairly dry. Unfortunately for me, my chain broke halfway through the first lap.
The course is made up of fast single track that winds its way around with many switchbacks. It is pretty flat, with some short steep climbs and descents. As far as terrain goes, there are some difficult technical parts with rocks, roots, and tight squeezes, as well as some fast, flat, not very technical stuff.
