I will never ride conventional grips again. Spring time in Maine usually means mud, wet weather and often times, spining grips. No more spinning with the lock-on grips. They hold in place with a couple of small allen keys. The only draw back I have found is that I like to run my bars short and often times trim my grips down as well. These don't allow for that option but their performance hasn't failed me yet.
