Finally a way for those with drop bars to use a Shimano Nexus or Alfine 8 speed internally geared hub. The right shifter operates the internally geared hub and brake, the left lever operates a brake only. The left lever is not for use with a front derailleur. The levers are compatible with short pull brakes (road calipers and cantilevers).
