Rangeley Lakes Saddleback Challenge Rangeley, ME 9/6/099
This race was pretty much the same as usual with the addition of a new section at the end. The course has a variety of twisty singletrack through a grassy field-like area, dirt road climbs and descents, and technical singletrack through the woods. There are plenty of climbs but they are all fairly short with either a nice flat section or descent in between. This year's addition was a pretty long but not steep climb before going into the woods for some technical singletrack then down the same way you came up and then back on the dirt road to the finish.
