RACING DISCIPLINE(S) AND CATEGORY(S): Endurance Mountain Bike
# OF YEARS RACING: 7
# OF BIKES OWNED: Currently an '07 Salsa Dos Niner, '07 Salsa Mamasita, and a Trek 2200 Road Bike which is soon to be replaced by a Salsa Campeon (SWEET!)
FAVORITE BIKE: It doesn't matter to me, as long as my cheeks are in the saddle, all is good. (yes, EVEN my stationary trainer!) But if I HAD to pick it would b e my Salsa Dos Niner. It's the "go to" race bike for Endurance racing!
FAVORITE TRAIL OR RIDE: Boyce Park (here in Pittsburgh), Seven Springs 24 Hour course, road riding in my hometown of Scottdale, PA and any trail in Crested Butte, Colorado.
NON-CYCLING INTERESTS/HOBBIES: Cooking, listening to music, good beer, getting my blog on- TheSoiledChamois.com, and hanging out with my wife JoErin and son Brennan. As well as thinking, dreaming, reading and obsessing about bikes and bike racing.
PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: I look forward to another year of racing for Bikeman.com, supporting our generous team sponsors, as well as a couple of my own Twin-Six Alternative Cycling Apparel and Ergon Bike Ergonomics. Like Eddy Merckx once said - "I got enormous pleasure simply from riding a bike. So I guess racing was a reason for riding it more."
