Watch your head!
You might run into that 1955 Elgin Bluebird hanging from the rafters. Yes, it's true. The boss never throws anything away. It just magically vanishes from the shop and ends up here. If you've given up hope of finding that low gear pawl for a Hercules three speed, drop Davis an email davis@bikeman.com. If we can't find it for you, well, uh, we can't find it for you.
Do you remember slapping a Fat City bandage over some rock rash or how about hearing a Tioga Disc Drive rolling down the trail. Bikeman still has found memories of the years and parts gone by. In the museum you will find collectibles, components, memorabilia and maybe somethings you totally forgot about. So tighten down those toe straps and come on in.

Crankin up the Heat: The attic is starting to heat up... literally. Treasure hunting in the attic is tolerable for about 4 months a year. Otherwise it is either boiling hot or bone chilling cold. This week Bikeman started digging around looking for treasures before the summer heat becomes too much. First on his list of items to sort through are cranks and this week and put up for sale a few beauties.
ATTIC FINDS: The gem in this batch of Attic Finds is an anodized red Grafton JoyStix crank arm set. A work of art in every sense of the word. The JoyStix where CNC machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum alloy producing one of the lightest cranks of the time. Bikeman also found a Black Grafton JoyStix crank with a little shop wear. Other cranks posted this week are a powder coated black Syncros crank and a classic Suntour XC Pro MD crank arm set. All the cranks are one offs and the first person to order takes them away. You never know what will appear in the attic next.

Warren Shindle just sent a pic and description of his Fat Chance Wicked. A classic old school ride. Here are his notes: "Here a recent snap of my 1989 Wicked (named "NO "F"ing CHANCE") that was repainted by Fat City in 1991 with a then "new" Manitou 2 Fork and factory rerouted cables after I got run over back then." Warren also has a Slim Chance that we are awaiting pictures of. Have a bike to post? Drop us a

Bikeman just uncovered a forgotten piece of history that was buried in a corner of the Attic. This lighted sign is double sided and has a large hook to hang it outside. It measures 4 feet tall by 4 feet wide and weighs a good 50 pounds. Can you image a company sending some POP material like this today. Not a chance!
