Two days of racing in rural Orange County. A private ranch has served admirable for the past few years. A hilly terrain with sandy, grassy fields allows the course designer flexibility and gives racers fits. The first day starts mid day so as to give ghouls, goblins, and cross racers the night to shine their lights. The second day returns to more normal start times. Pumpkin carving, kid races, team encampments, and hecklers abound. I made the first day.
