FAVORITE BIKE: Carbon Camber EVO 29er, is just a blast to ride with one chain ring, and a 10 speed cassette, and wonderfully simple for racing.
FAVORITE TRAIL OR RIDE: Almost any trail, in any part of the USA. Trails in my backyard, in New Hampshire, Wyoming, and Utah keep me in shape. Riding across the USA on a road bike.
NON-CYCLING INTERESTS/HOBBIES: Hiking/Mountaineering, Building Science, Indoor Air Quality, Alternative Energy, Religions
PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: An X runner, Kirk Turner’s and Kate’s racing and the Trek Across Maine re-sparked my interest 13 years ago, and I been re-hooked since. I am very glad to be recuperated from a separated shoulder 8 years ago, and a fractured tibia plateau 3 years ago. Riding with Kirk out west last October for a month drastically increased my confidence. Adjusting to no hearing in one ear means calling out “On the Left” is real important. I recently read downhillers used to use ear plugs to focus better? Bring it on!!! .
